Meet Barry. On October 18, 2023, he moved in the Nathan Court Group in Cliffwood, New Jersey.
Barry is an avid football fan, mainly Monmouth Township High School and Monmouth University. Barry attends their games throughout the season. While Barry was attending High School Barry was the Manager of the Ocean Township Football team, and he earned a varsity letter. He wore jersey number was 18 with the Spartans. Barry has a lot of fond memories of high school with friends. He is honored that he was able to be involved with mainstream classes.
Barry was born and raised in Ocean Township. Growing up Barry traveled to various states with his family. The two states that remembers most are Florida and Pennsylvania, where he would visit his grandparents. When he was younger, he attended Seashore Day Camp in Long Brach, New Jersey. He was even achieved the honor of being the most popular camper, when he was 12 years old.
Barry is the youngest in his family and has two older sisters. Barry keeps in close contact with his mother and father. Barry moved out of his family’s home in 2019. His family moved in to an assisted living facility and Barry moved into Habcore Boarding Home in Keansburg and then moved to Asbury Park.
Barry has worked many different jobs in the community working for Wegmens, ShopRite, and volunteered at Booker Behavior Health. In his free time Barry enjoys collecting Monopoly games, watching television shows like Family Guy, The Simpsons, and all types of sports movies. Barry likes watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. He is a big fan of 80’s music. He loves going out to eat at Apple Bees, and he loves their Chicken Alfredo. His other favorite restaurant is Texas Road House, where he likes their barbecue chicken.
Barry hopes to travel move within the United States. He really wants to go to Texas to attend a variety of high school football games. He wants to go to Atlanta to go to the college football hall of fame. He would like to go to Philadelphia and visit all the historical sites, including the U.S. Mint.
Barry is excited about his future living with the Center for Family Support. He has been attending football games with his staff. He is looking forward to have unsupervised time and working towards being able to administer his medication himself. He likes his new roommates and staff. Barry has been a welcoming addition to the Nathan Court Family.
