On July 24, 2021, we lost someone very special at The Center for Family Support: William “Bill” Ciliento, whom we were proud to provide with community habilitation services in Long Island. Bill leaves an indelible impact on all of us, especially his main staff person Lynn Delmato, who worked with him for more than twenty years! Staff members Iona McKoy and Anali Salas also had the pleasure of working with him, and will miss him.
Bill was a kind and determined man who appreciated life. He loved everyone who helped him and genuinely cared for his caregivers. He even wrote a poem/song for Lynn! You can find it below. His words are a reminder of how important our staff’s care is, and how much we are appreciated by the individuals we work with. We will always remember William “Bill” Ciliento as described in the image above.
