Residences

We have 21 group homes in New Jersey, located throughout Bergen, Essex, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, and Union Counties. Intentionally small, our group homes are designed to meet the needs of adults who require a structured setting to live independently. They offer individualized attention, supervision, and support 24/7. Staff members work closely with residents to help them develop the skills needed for successful independent living.

Day Programs

CFS has five-day-a-week Day Programs in Hackensack, Union, and Hillsborough. We pride ourselves in working with everyone, including individuals who have significant challenges with a history of trauma that have been turned away by other agencies. Our Day Programs help individuals build friendships, learn new skills, and connect with their community to live a more fulfilling life.

Prevocational Courses and Job Coaching

CFS has an employment-first mindset, meaning we work with individuals to grow employment skills, seek meaningful opportunities, and provide on-job support where needed. Individuals from our Residences, Day Programs — as well as any individuals with I/DD in the community — can participate in workshops that foster vocational skills, and job placement and coaching once they are ready to join the workforce.
