The CFS Self-Starters President, Boyd Brown, attended the 2019 SANYS (Self-Advocacy Association of New York State) Statewide Conference in Albany. Boyd was able to meet the Commissioner of OPWDD, Dr. Theodore Kastner. Boyd is open to change but advocated to the commissioner that throughout the process it is important that his rights are respected and that he maintains continuity of his services.
