Sunset Residence hosted “Black History Time with Sunset” on February 2, 2021 via ZOOM to celebrate Black History Month. Jacquera, Melvin, Tameka, Randolph, and Ivette researched and educated the virtual ZOOM group on some extraordinary people they admire. Erica Vassell, Residence Manager, said “We practiced how to present and how to read off their papers, similar to a mock presentation”.
Sunset Residence holds a bi-weekly ZOOM group called “ZOOMING with Sunset”. They take their group very serious and always prepare for each workshop they hold. They bring together a large group of attendees from all over New York and New Jersey. Sunset was excited to hold this special event for Black History Month.
