On May 11, 2016, individuals, supervisors, and staff from 10 Group Homes (Teaneck, New Milford, Elmwood Park, Twain, Roselle, Lincoln Park, Cottage, Plainfield, Somerset and Somerville) went on a combined cluster outing on The Spirit of New Jersey Luncheon Cruise on the Hudson. In addition, two assistant Directors, Marilyn Bristol-Mentor and Valerie Bowen-Townes, also attended this wonderful event. The cruise left from Weehawken, and sailed around all of Manhattan, including the statue of liberty, Ellis island and various other sites along the way. They cruised around town for approximately 2 and a half hours. All the individuals that attended enjoyed being treated to this fun filled event which included lunch, sightseeing, music and dancing. They all said they can’t wait to do it again.
