On Thursday, May 10th, The Center for Family Support (CFS) Foundation held its first annual fundraising dinner at the Helen Mills Theater on W. 26th St. in New York City. The honoree for the event was Dunn Development Corp. Over $64,000 was raised to support the programs and services of CFS.
Dunn Development Corp. is a leader in the field of housing and community development in New York City. Over the last 22 years, Dunn Development has been involved in the development of more than 3,000 units of new housing. Dunn Development Corp.’s mission is to build the highest quality housing for low and middle-income New Yorkers, including those with disabilities and other special needs.
Over 140 people attended the dinner, with the CFS Foundation achieving a “sell out” for the event in its very first year. Attendees enjoyed a wonderful cocktail reception and dinner.
The evening also included a Silent Auction, which raised over $10,000. Items to bid on included a tour of the Federal Reserve Bank, tickets to a Billy Joel Concert, a vacation home in Colorado and a tour of the Apollo Theater.
Special thanks go to Martin Dunn for reaching out to all of his contacts and the CFS Governing and Foundation Board’s for their help in raising revenue.
We now turn our sights to 2019!!
