Grace is CFS SDS’s Project Manager. Her role is to plan, organize and oversee multiple project tasks, timelines, and resources to ensure the flow and manageability of systems in the Self-Direction program model. Grace communicates with stakeholders, manages risks and issues, and monitors progress to ensure that the projects stay on track. She also evaluates a project’s success and identifies areas for improvement in future projects.
Grace is the eyes and ears of the department. Essentially, she closes all the gaps and gray areas that naturally transpire in the nature of the field of Self-Directed Services. Grace very gracefully collaborates with families, employees, brokers, external vendors, FI managers and other departments within CFS to ensure that all areas of our program are operating smoothly.
Grace is extremely efficient and organized. She goes above and beyond to not complete her tasks but to maximize our systems and software to effectively manage projects and expand to the organization opportunities of learning we may fall short of. Each month, for example, Grace catches up on all new educational releases of our eVero software and highlights important changes for the various positions in our department to ensure that we all benefit from the new software enhancements.
In the CFS Loop, though Grace is such an excellent communicator and always keeps us all involved in any type of matter, she is quite independent and her ideas and suggestions are often what we value. She’s been an asset to the Loop. Grace presents to us the feedback she gets from The Loop meetings, however her ideas are her own original ideas as to whom can be recognized and why. We ensure as her team to link her to the families and staff she envisions deserve to be highlighted she however is the master mind behind the vision of those highlighted.
Not to mention that Grace had been with the agency for over a decade as a direct support professional herself prior to accepting this role. In her DSP role Grace established a meaningful relationship with an individual we support whom she is proud to now call her friend. In CFS Grace has honored us with connections far beyond project management and for this we would like to honor and recognize her.
