Today is World Down Syndrome Day, a special day marked each year on March 21st, since 2006!
The 21st of March was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication of the 21st chromosome which causes Down Syndrome. So, every year on this 21st day of March, World Down Syndrome Day is observed to create awareness about Down Syndrome.
In honor of World Down syndrome day, the CFS Poetry Club is meeting today at 4pm to write a poem titled “21 Reasons Why”.
