On Wednesday June 15th, The Center for Family Support held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the Frost Ave. Apartments in Brooklyn. In addition to the excitement of celebrating the opening of this beautiful building, guests had the opportunity to tour the apartments of the CFS Service Recipient’s, as well as enjoy food provided by Well Rooted Kitchen. The Frost Ave. Apartment building was built by the Dunn Development Corporation, a socially-conscious, award winning real estate developer with expertise in affordable and supportive housing. The company’s mission is to build the highest quality housing for low and middle-income New Yorker’s. The three individuals making speeches at the ribbon cutting ceremony were residents Alexander Brygider, Angel Pagon and Dunn Development CEO, Martin Dunn. A representative from the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities was in attendance and the local Fire Department also attended, creating a very neighborly atmosphere.
